Race and Your Community Lacreshia Hollie Axia College of University of Phoenix A few days ago our town had a rattling racist calamity when I was in high school where 3 face cloth boys from school drug this fatal boy behind a truck and killed him. This incident put our town in a complete uproar. We all attended high school to snuff ither and knew one another well. All of the boys played football together. bulk were saying they did the black boy like this because he was date a white girl that one of the boys had dated before. disregarding of what lead them to this happening many wad felt as if they should be punished for their actions. The case went to court and they all got sentenced to probation. I honestly felt as if they should mystify received a harsher punishment than that also. The boys were from very well respected families of the community and I feel as if this carried a lot of weight on why they did not receive any jail time. A young boy lost his life and its like his life meant nothing to anyone because nothing was done to people that killed him. The black boys mother was a school teacher at our high school at the time of this incident. She stop after this happened. So I feel like people with well respected names do get modified treatment in my town.

I feel that if the boys that committed this crime were not from families with money and known in the community they wouldnt have gotten off that easily. I currently elaborate for high Cross Blue Shield of Texas. This company is known for world a diverse company and I really rely most of the people at my site are very fair people.
