So far in the myth The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold, the character that stands out just about to me is Susie Salmon. Although she has already passed away, Susie is the narrator of the story and I find that to be genuinely unique and interesting. Susie was your average fourteen year old, who happened to sink into a misfortunate situation which lead to her death. She was very naive, and did non think anything of Mr. Harvey leading her to the corn field in the dark. She had ever been very innocent, walking home from school every solar day in the dark and never thought anything of it. She was also very quiet, she never even had to the chance to tell her crush she wish him, but it turned out he left a love not in her notebook. He was later questioned for her hit which I thought was very strange, considering he is so young.
til now though Susie is no longer living, she is not completely gone. She is in heaven, and looks over and watches her family every single day. She spends most of her time intercourse the story of how her family and loved ones cope with her death.
She also narrates her own forward motion through heaven as she matures there over time. ace of her biggest motive is to lead her family to the man who ended her life.
