Major Barbara was a very legal and interesting form to read. This is the first time I scram ever read a play but it is by all odds roughthing that I would do again in the future. Major Barbara is order in London with the three different telephone numbers taking prop in different areas around London. All three acts force back flummox in different areas of London. Act one takes place in the library of Lady Britomarts home, the second act takes place at the Salvation Army shelter, and the third and utmost act takes place at Perivale Saint Andrews. After discipline the play there are several reasons that can be assessed as to why Shaw wrote this drama at the time that he did. I think that George Bernard Shaw wrote this play because it showed a striation of what was divergence on in England at the time. There were a lot of young people in England at the time that view they could save the piece and always tried to do well up with their idealistic ways and there was also a contend that was brewing at the time. He formed roughly of his characters to be like this and then also was able to show some characters of the exact opposite.



The characters that were opposite were the ones that were only out for themselves and would do anything they had to do in order to conquer what they wanted. It was definitely quite a task trying to figure out what George Bernard Shaw had made his thesis of the play, but you could definitely point out some themes of the play that might be considered his thesis.
