Personification Macbeth
Personification: Bestows human characteristics upon anything nonhuman, from an mouse idea to a physical force (Love is blind).
Example: Stones set about been known to cash in ones chips, and trees to speak.
Function: The murder of Duncan by Macbeth was a salient event that leads to Macbeth suffering the consequences later on in the story. Shakespeare is large the stones and trees human characteristic which is personification. Obviously stones do not move and trees do not speak. There is an old saying that the dead(p) will have their revenge. This is representing how unethical and unnatural things have bend in the world of Macbeth. Macbeth will be tormented for infinity from his murderous actions. Macbeth is starting to fear what he has done with Duncan and how Macbeths self-importanceish actions is starting to haunt him. He starts to believe that his disgust actions will have a consequence which leads to more marvellous actions taken by Macbeth. The actions that Macbeth took on Duncan lead to the hallucinations of his worst enemies.
When Macbeth kickoff killed Duncan he sealed his fate in obliging his self to commit more territory by trying to down up his future as king. If a death occurs legion(predicate) more will have to follow in rig to achieve Macbeths goal of being King. In give to keep himself King he would have to kill the balance of the blood line of Duncan and Banquo who was also given the prophecy that his sons would blend in king. The choice that Macbeth made to murder Duncan put him on a slippery slope having to continually murder those who are a threat to Macbeths throne making Macbeth come to a realization that there is no meaning to life.
