Michael is a five year old little male child who was diagnosed with a auditory sense loss and a barbarism disorder, out-of-pocket to his hear loss. Michael has failed to make friends and does not show progress in learning numbers or letters. Michael is attending speech therapy trinity times a week, and is working with a school psychologist to catch up with if Michael should be placed in special educational classes when starts school in a month. Michaels parents are afraid that repayable to his hearing loss and not being able to come up to when he starts school he result labeled in school and this leave behind keep him from being in a regular classroom with other children his age. A social intervention plan will help Michael with is social skills and help him move with others. This will also help Michael with his school skills as wellhead as in learning.
Michael has hearing loss and a speech disorder; this will affect many things when it comes to communication with others round him. The major issue within his social skills is Michaels hearing loss, this is a major reason he cannot speak real well to others around him. If Michael is in an area in which it is garish or there is back ground noises he will misunderstand what is being express by others around him.
This will cause him to react to something due to not understanding correctly. spot children are playing they are usually loud and tally around, Michael has a hard time with hearing what is being utter by others and other children will not play or talk to him due to Michael is most likely not hearing what they are saying correctly and responding inappropriately. Michaels disabilities are touching his social development, due to he cannot hear what is being said correctly.
