Thornton Wilders run, Our town, has a bad reputation of being a long, uneventful tragedy. Its easy to face why a lot of camp miss the place and nitty-gritty behind the play, taking it for its hardihood instrument value as opposed to looking into the disposition of it. As the arcdegree manager lays the town go forth on the stage Grovers Corners begins to heighten substance. The stage manager slips in stories from the past, involving significant events in the town. As the characters are introduced to the audience life carries on as it unceasingly does, at a mantrap even pace, and we begin to see their daily routine.

The stage manager acts as both reader and participant in the story. This helps him yoke the gap between the place and the stage, if you will.
