The Writer The rime, The Writer, is written by Richard Wilbur. It is a poem tight-fitting his lady friend while she is writing a stage. In this poem the narrator, wantwise the author, realizes that his daughter will have a sturdy move around through life, and he can non induct decisions for her. Wilbur uses concrete linguistic communication to stimulate visual resource along with abstract spoken language to bring forth a certain t iodin for the poem.
